Daniel Coney, also known as D. Coney, is the Airbrush Prince, an artist from metro Detroit who has spent nearly 24 years mastering the art of airbrushing. Starting in the early 2000s, he honed his craft through what he calls "guerrilla style" techniques, hands-on, pick-up-and-go methods, far from traditional, meticulous instruction.

Under the mentorship of master airbrush artists, D. Coney developed a bold, unconventional approach. Over the years, he’s brought hundreds of projects to life, including comic art, murals, commissioned canvas paintings for homes and gifts, apparel, and more, while meeting and collaborating with childhood heroes, celebrities, musicians, and beyond.

Now, for the first time, the Airbrush Prince Academy is finally here. For years, people asked me to teach, but I didn’t see myself as a teacher until now. I’m giving back, sharing my skills, and igniting the creative fire in the next generation. So, whether you have just a little experience or you’re just starting out, get ready, this is the academy for you!
